University of Technology and Applied Sciences

University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) is a relatively new public university in Navrongo, established from the former Navrongo Campus of the University for Development Studies. The university focuses on applied sciences, technology, health sciences, and education.UTAS plays an important role in expanding access to higher education in the Upper East Region and offers specialised science programmes not widely available in northern Ghana.
