University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development

USTED is a public university established by an Act of Parliament in 2020 to train skilled professionals and educators, particularly in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). It was formed from the Kumasi and Mampong campuses of the University of Education, Winneba. USTED focuses on equipping students with practical skills in technology, engineering, agriculture, home economics, and vocational education. The university plays a critical role in Ghana's agenda to strengthen technical and vocational education, producing teachers and professionals who can support industrialisation and entrepreneurship. It offers programmes at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels.
