Bolgatanga Technical University

Bolgatanga Technical University (BTU) is a public technical university in the Upper East Region of Ghana. It was originally established as a trade school and progressed through polytechnic status before becoming a technical university in 2016. BTU serves the educational needs of northern Ghana, offering career-focused HND and BTech programmes in business, engineering, and applied sciences. The university is committed to practical training and community development in one of Ghana's less-resourced regions.
