Academic City University (ACity) is a private STEAM-focused university located in Haatso, Accra. It has rapidly built a reputation as one of Ghana's most innovative higher education institutions, placing a strong emphasis on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) alongside entrepreneurship. ACity was ranked 2nd in Ghana and 15th in Sub-Saharan Africa in the 2023 Times Higher Education rankings. Notably, it became the first university in Africa to offer an undergraduate programme in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering. The university operates through three main faculties: the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Business Administration and Communication Arts, and the Faculty of Computational Sciences and Informatics. ACity emphasises project-based learning, industry partnerships, and startup creation, boasting a near-100% graduate placement rate.

Entry Requirements

WASSCE or equivalent with a minimum grade of C6 in six (6) subjects: Three (3) core subjects and three (3) relevant electives.
French Baccalaureate: Minimum overall score of 10.00.
International Baccalaureate (IB): Grades A*/A–C in English, Mathematics, and Science, plus three Higher Level subjects.
GCE (Cambridge): Five credits at O-Level, including English and Mathematics, plus passes in three relevant A-Level subjects.
IGCSE (Cambridge): Five credits at O-Level, including English and Mathematics, plus passes in three relevant A-Level subjects.
American High School Diploma: Grade 13 with a GPA of 2.50 or higher.
